Aminoglycoside an.
Summary
Two cases of Acanthamoeba keratitis are described and discussed. In one case the diagnosis was established histologically from corneal specimens obtained after penetrating keratoplasty. Typical misdiagnoses are herpetic and mycotic keratitis. Both cases responded well to imidazole and aminoglycoside treatment, respectively.
