Die Operation nach Mc Bride mit und ohne zusätzliche Basisosteotomie des Metatarsale I

Zusammenfassung

151 Füße, welche wegen eines Hallux valgus nach Mc Bride sowie nach Mc Bride mit Basisosteotomie des Metatarsale I operiert wurden, werden in einer retrospektiven Studie nachuntersucht. Die obigen Verfahren werden in zwei Gruppen gegliedert. Die zweite Gruppe zeigt objektiv bessere Resultate, während sich nach subjektiven Kriterien kein signifikanter Unterschied sichern läßt.

Abstract

Follow-up of Mc Bride procedure in treatment of Hallux valgus or Mc Bride procedure combined with a proximal osteotomy of the first metarsale was done in 151 patients by means of a retrospective study. According to the above mentioned methods the patients werde divided into two groups. The second group showed better clinical and radiological results, whereas in the patients' estimation the two groups showed equally good results.
