ABSTRACT
An IBM Personal Computer was used to collect digitally fetal heart rate and uterine contraction data from an electronic fetal monitor. Patient history, physical examination, and pertinent clinical data were also stored electronically. The information was reviewed in an educational format including prospective clinical assessment and patient management. In addition, questions, graded responses and text discussion with references were presented during prospective patient management.
