Introduction

Lithiumtriethylborohydride (LiEt3BH) was used as versatile reagent in organic chemistry for various chemical transformations including reduction of carbonyl compounds, including selective reductions, in the regioselective ring-opening reactions, in deoxygenation reactions and as an N-acyl deprotecting agent.
