Summary

Abdominal tuberculosis is a rare manifestation of tuberculosis and sometimes offers difficulties in diagnosis. In this regard colonoscopy with targeted biopsy may be a valuable help to differentiate tuberculous lesions from other diseases of the large bowel. Nodular lesions with areas of polypoid changes are the major gross appearence sometimes simulating neoplastic changes.
