Intraoperative Lokalisation raumfordernder intrakranieller Prozesse mittels Ultraschall

Zusammenfassung

Im Verlaufe von 2 Jahren wurden bei 44 Patienten intraoperative echo-enzephalographische Untersuchungen bei intrazerebralen raumfordernden Prozessen vorgenommen. Das Verfahren erleichterte die intraoperative Lokalisation der pathologischen Prozesse und deren Beurteilung bezüglich der Konsistenz. Wir betrachten die intraoperative Ultraschallexploration als äußerst wertvolle Hilfe bei der chirurgischen Behandlung kleiner intrazerebraler Tumoren.

Abstract

During a two-year period, intra-operative ultrasonic explorations were performed in 44 patients for the purpose of localisation of intracranial masses. This facilitated accurate intraoperative assessment of the location and consistency of the mass. We consider operative ultrasound to be an invaluable adjunct to surgery of small intracerebral masses.
