Beitrag der Sonographie in der Diagnostik eines ungewöhnlichen Milztumors

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über einen Fall eines ungewöhnlichen zystischen Riesentumors der Milz (nekrotisch zerfallendes Non-Hodgkin-Lymphom) barichtet, der sonographisch, szintigraphisch und angiographisch untersucht wurde. Anhand des pathanatom. Befundes (OP-Präparat) werden die Aussagen der einzelnen Untersuchungsmethoden verglichen. Im vorliegenden Fall lieferte die Sonographie die besten Informationen über die Morphologie des Tumors. Die Bedeutung der Sonographie bei der Differentialdiagnose zystischer (bzw. pseudozystischer) Raumforderungen wird diskutiert.

Abstract

The authors report on an unusual cystic giant tumour of the spleen (a necrotically disintegrating non-Hodgkin lymphoma) which was examined via sonography, scintigraphy and angiography. The Information obtained by means of the individual examination methods was compared with each other, taking the findings of anatomic pathology as basis. In the case under discussion sonography supplied the best possible Information on the morphology of the tumour The importance of sonography in arriving at the differential diagnosis of cystic (or pseudocystic) space-occupying growths is discussed.
