Eine genaue Analyse der vorliegenden Sattelbildung ist grundsätzliche Voraussetzung für eine erfolgreiche Behandlung. Ist die Einsattelung lediglich ein kosmetisches Problem, so besteht die Korrektur im Anheben des Nasenrückens. Ist die Nasenatmung behindert, so muß das Septum mit aufgebaut werden. Um eine natürliche Beweglichkeit der Nase zu erhalten, ist es besser, keinen L-Span zu verwenden, sondern je einen Span für die Columella und den Nasenrücken. Als Implantationsmaterial muß nach wie vor den autologen Spänen der Vorzug gegeben werden.

As implantation material the autogenous grafts are given preference now as before.
