A New Trick for End-to-End Anastomosis in Microvascular Surgery: Modified Harashina Procedure

ABSTRACT
To avoid inadvertant anteroposterior wall suture in microvascular anastomosis, we propose a modification of the Harashina technique. Instead of using an untied zenith anterior suture, we suggest leaving the needle in place before inserting the seventh and eighth stitches.
