Läßt sich eine Wirkung homöopathischer Hochpotenzen nachweisen? Eine kontrollierte Cross-over Doppelblindstudie bei Hautkranken

Zusammenfassung

Die Wirkungen homöopathischer Hochpotenzen (Sulfur C30, C200 und C1000) wurden in 2 Doppelblindstudien an insgesamt 26 Patienten geprüft. 4 definierte Kriterien wurden benutzt, um die Wirkung der Hochpotenzen von einer Reaktion auf Placebo zu unterscheiden. Der Unterschied konnte bei der Pilotstudie mit einer Irrtumswahrscheinlichkeit von 5%, in der Hauptstudie von 1% gesichert werden. Beide Studien zusammen waren mit einer Irrtumswahrscheinlichkeit von 0,1%signifikant. Eine Literaturstudie bisher durchgeführter Versuche zum Hochpotenzproblem enthüllte kaum zu widerlegende Ergebnisse, die für eine Wirkung sprechen, während die physikalisch-chemische Grundlagenforschung zuvor zu interessanten Tatsachen führte, aber noch kein schlüssiges Gesamtkonzept offenbarte.

Summary

The effects of homoeopathic high poten-cies (Sulfur CH30, CH200 and CH1OOO) were examined in two double-blind studies (pilot and main study) with totally 26 patients. There were 4 defined criteria which were used to distinguish a response to the high potency from a placebo reaction. In the pilot study an effect was demonstrable for the 5% level, in the main study for the 1 % level. Both studies counted together were significant forthe 0,1 % level. The quintessence of a literature study of hither to existing proofs of effects of high potencies was, that the results of these ex-periments are hardly to disprove. In a further look on the literature of physico-chemical experiments and explanation efforts, indeed interesting facts and theories about how the high potencies work could be found but no overall plan which was totally conclusive.
