Warum sollen die Homöopathen nicht auf dem Scheiterhaufen verbrannt werden?

Zusammenfassung

Es scheint, als fehle in der Diskussion über die Homöopathie der Bezug zu den Grundlagen. Es wird stillschweigend vorausgesetzt, dass die Form der Medizin, die auf dem cartesianischen Wissenschaftsmodell beruht, die einzige sei. Sie ist aber nur eine der Strömungen der Heilkunst, welche viel früher entstand. Argumente gegen die Homöopathie erwachsen vor allem aus den nutzlosen Versuchen, die Wirkungsweise homöopathischer Medikamente innerhalb des cartesianischen Paradigmas zu erklären. Stattdessen sollten wir auf die neuen Informationstheorien vertrauen, die nicht nur für die Informationstechnologien, sondern auch für die Physik insgesamt entscheidend sind.

Summary

It seems that what was lacking in the discussion concerning homeopathy was the reference to the basics. It was tacitly presumed that the type of medicine, which was based on the Cartesian model of sciences, is its only type. However, it is only one of the streams of the medical art which aroused much earlier. Arguments used against homeopathy come basically from futile attempts to explain the way of acting of the homeopathic medicines within the Cartesian paradigm. Instead, we should rely on the new theories of information, which are crucial not only to the informative technologies, but also to the physics itself.
