Echocardiography in Pregnant Women During The Process of Physiologic Gestation
Problemstellung: The aim of the work was to estimate behavior of haemocirculation system (mechanical activity of myocardium) of normal pregnant women during the physiological gestation.
Methode: 10 healthy non-pregnant fertile women and 32 pregnant women with normal pregnancy at various terms of gestation have been examined by echocardiography. Acuson Aspen and Aloka SSD-1700 have been used.
Ergebnisse: Main indices of the mechanic activity (CI and EF) of myocardium decrease in the first trimester of physiological gestation. Their gradual increase is observed up to 20th week of pregnancy. After that a considerable increase from control level of 14–27% of indices under investigation is notable in the 28th week of gestation. The achieved increase of mechanic activity of myocardium of healthy pregnants has revealed a trend of farther growth up to the term.
Schlussfolgerung: The changes, described by the authors in the system of haemocirculation during physiological gestation on the basis of acquired cardiohemodynamic type of blood circulation and together with hormone-metabolic and morphological changes, they are adaptational, directed towards provision of development programme of fetus.
