ABSTRACT

This review is a pictorial essay discussing the tools used in the image-guided percutaneous drainage of abdominal and pelvic abscesses. Topics covered include drainage catheters, access devices, directional catheters, dilators and sheaths, localizing devices, and fixation devices and drainage systems.
