Empirische Daten zur Pharmakotherapie der Persönlichkeitsstörungen im deutschsprachigen Raum

Zusammenfassung

Patienten mit Persönlichkeitsstörungen werden heute überwiegend auch psychopharmakologisch behandelt. Dabei fehlen bislang klare, empirisch begründete Therapiestrategien. Vielmehr herrscht ein symptombezogener und pragmatischer Ansatz vor. Dieser Artikel wirft auf breiter empirischer Basis (Daten des AMSP-Projektes) ein Licht auf die aktuelle psychopharmakologische Behandlung dieser Störungsbilder in Deutschland und geht Veränderungstrends in den letzten Jahren nach.

Abstract

To a large extent, patients with personality disorders nowadays will receive psychopharmacological treatment as well as psychotherapy. Empirical founded data are still rare and a symptomatic and rather pragmatic approach dominates. This study provides an empirical insight in the psychopharmacological practice of psychiatric institutions in Germany. The use of psychotropic drugs in patients with personality disorders will be demonstrated using the data base of the AMSP drug safety program. Recent changes will be shown by comparing the results of the year 2002 against 1996.
