Therapieevaluation als Evidenzbasis der Suchttherapie

Abstract

In einem Literaturüberblick werden Behandlungsergebnisse der Suchttherapie in ihrer Bedeutung für die Planung und Durchführung evidenzbasierter Suchttherapie dargestellt. Für die Beurteilung von Behandlungsergebnissen ist die Beachtung unterschiedlicher Erfolgskriterien wichtig. Dies zeigt sich z. B. in Studien, die mehr von einem Public Health Ansatz ausgehen und die Reduktion des Suchtmittelkonsums als zentral ansehen, im Vergleich zu Studien, die mehr einen rehabilitativen Ansatz vertreten und die Abstinenz als Zielkriterium in den Mittelpunkt stellen. Nach einer kurzen zusammenfassenden Darstellung der globalen Wirksamkeit psychosozialer Suchttherapie werden Ergebnisse zur Motivations- und Kurztherapie, zur ambulanten und stationären Therapie, zur Dauer und Intensität psychosozialer Suchttherapie sowie Effekte verschiedener Therapieansätze und Therapiemethoden im Überblick beschrieben und bewertet. In weiteren Abschnitten wird auf die Kombination mit medikamentöser Therapie und auf die Ergebnisse zur Nachsorge eingegangen. Abschließend werden Ergebnisse zur Komorbidität und Schwere der Abhängigkeit für zentrale Fragen der Indikation (ambulante versus stationäre Behandlung, Behandlungsdauer) diskutiert.
