Abstract

Characteristics of a method integrating psychotherapy are illustrated by the in-patient therapy of a depressive patient. The importance of a setting change towards marital therapy is shown. The differences between orthodox therapies and method integration are often classified as quantitative rather than fundamental. A case study exemplifies strategy relevant factors in the treatment of depression and in general. The importance of changing paradigms is emphasized.
