Kombination von Psychotherapie und Psychopharmakotherapie

Zusammenfassung

Bei chronischen Depressionen wird häufig eine Kombination von Psycho- und Pharmakotherapie empfohlen. Der Autor diskutiert, inwieweit diese Empfehlung durch empirische Daten gestützt wird. Außerdem wird ein Abriss der gegenwärtigen Diskussion über die potenziellen Differenzialindikationen für antidepressive Pharmakotherapie, Psychotherapie oder Kombinationstherapie in der generellen Behandlung depressiver Störungen gegeben.

For chronic depressions a combination of psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy is frequently recommended. The author discusses how far this recommendation is supported by empirical data. In addition, a survey about the potential differential indication for antidepressant pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy or combination therapy in general treatment of depressive disorders is provided.
