Abstract

A polystyrene-bound pyridineboronic acid was synthesized and shown to be an efficient, easily recoverable and reusable amidation catalyst.

All amides were characterized by 1H NMR spectroscopy and match previously reported data or 1H NMR data of the corresponding amide prepared by DCC activation.
