According to the "Hoffmann test", allenylzinc bromides derived from allenyllithium have been reacted with racemic and non-racemic α-alkoxy-imines at various temperatures. The ratio of the diastereomeric α-aminoethers thus obtained points to an appreciable configurational stability of the organometallics.
