Efficient cyclocarbonylation of enynes can be achieved in 1,2-dimethoxyethane using 35-50% of Co2(CO)8 under an atmosphere of nitrogen, provided the reaction is carried out in the presence of three molar equivalents of cyclohexylamine relative to Co2(CO)8.
