Polymer-supported selenocyanates were readily prepared from substituted-polystyrene resins such as Merrifield resin and aminomethyl-polystyrene resin. Employing these polymer-supported selenocyanates, the corresponding oxyselenenylation-deselenenylation reactions proceeded in the solid-phase.
