Publication History
Publication Date:
31 December 2000 (online)
A new synthetic method of 1,2,3-triazole from glyoxal monohydrazone mono-oxime (1a) has been developed. 1a obtained by the thermal disproportionation of glyoxal bis-hydrazone (1b) and glyoxime (1c) was treated with acetic anhydride to give 2-acetyl-1,2,3-triazole, following alcoholysis gave 1,2,3-triazole in high yield.
