Secondary alkenyl triflates 2, easily obtained from the corresponding ketones 1, react with lithium thiolates in the presence of Pd(PPh3)4 to form secondary alkenyl sulfides 3 regioselectively (but not fully stereospecifically) in good to excellent yields.
