N α-Fmoc(9-fluorenylmethyloxycarbonyl)- N β-glycosylated-L-asparagine ester, which is a useful precursor for the synthesis of N-glycopeptide, was obtained in good yield by the reaction of glycosyl azide and N α-Fmoc-L-aspartic acid α-monoester in the presence of triethylphosphine in dichloromethane.
