Reaction of N-substituted allenic amines (4) with a modified palladium(II) electrophile, generated in situ from Pd(0) and either an aryl or alkenyl halide, allows heteroatom cyclisation to be efficiently combined with a sp2-sp2 coupling step leading to pyrrolidines (5) and (6).
