Several N,N-dialkyl[1-(trimethylgermyl)alkyl]amines 3 were synthesized by trimethylgermylation of (diethylamino)-, [benzyl(methyl)amino]-, [methyl(phenyl)amino]- and piperidinoacetonitriles 1 followed by treatment with Grignard reagents.
