1-Chloro-1-phenyliminomethanesulfenyl chloride readily yields derivatives of the 3H-1,2,4-thiadiazolo-[4,3-a] pyridine, -[4,3-a]pyrazine, -[4,3-c]pyrimidine and -[3,4-b]benzothiazole as well as the 3H-thiazolo- and 3H-1,3,4-thiadiazolo-[2,3-c] [1,2,4]thiadiazole ring systems on reaction with the appropriate amino substituted heterocycle.
