SOP Methodik evozierter Potenziale
Methodology of Evoked PotentialsPublication History
Publication Date:
19 June 2019 (online)
Abstact
The Commission Evoked Potentials of the DGKN has established minimum requirements for the conduct of the investigations, with the objectives of ensuring quality and comparability of results. Together with the recommendations of the International Federation for Clinical Neurophysiology (IFCN), as well as books, publications and book contributions to evoked potentials, for the most used methods: acoustic evoked potentials (AEP), magnetically evoked motor potential (MEP), somatosensory evoked potentials (SEP) and visually evoked potentials (VEP) have developed very concrete instructions. These include: measurement parameters, indications for examination, general requirements; stimulus and registration parameters, execution, frequent errors and their avoidance and evaluation of findings
