Zusammenfassung
Der radiologischen Bildgebung der vertebralen Infektionen kommt eine zentrale Rolle in der Initialdiagnostik wie auch der Verlaufsbeurteilung zu. Der Artikel beschreibt die verschiedenen Möglichkeiten der Bildgebung, deren Vorteile und Grenzen. Der Schwerpunkt liegt hierbei auf der pyogenen Spondylodiszitis. Daneben werden die typischen bildmorphologischen Kriterien unter Berücksichtigung verschiedener Erreger erläutert. Zusätzlich befasst sich der Artikel mit den möglichen Differenzialdiagnosen.
Abstract
The radiological imaging of vertebral infections plays a central role in the initial diagnostic and follow up. The article describes the different possibilities of the imaging along with their advantages and limitations. The focus is set on the pyogenic spondylodiscitis. Typical morphological imaging criteria regarding the different pathogenic causes are also illustrated. In addition, the article addresses the possible differential diagnoses.
