Einleitung

Kalkaneusfrakturen erfordern ein standardisiertes Therapiekonzept, weil bei inadäquater Behandlung die Gefahr daraus resultierender Fußdeformitäten groß ist, welche den Patienten erhebliche Probleme bereiten können. Aus diesem Grund sollen die wesentlichen Schritte der Diagnostik und Therapie dargestellt werden (Abb. [1]). Prinzipiell ist das Ziel der Behandlung von Kalkaneusfrakturen die exakte anatomische Wiederherstellung der korrekten Höhe und Achsenverhältnisse des Rückfußes sowie der Gelenkkongruenz [1]–[9].
