Das Krankenhaus Martha-Maria in Halle an der Saale lud am 11.10.2014 bereits zum 2. Mal zum hochkarätig besetzten Hallenser Hypothermie-Gespräch ein [Abb. 1]. International ausgewiesene Experten diskutierten mit den interessierten Teilnehmern aktuelle Aspekte der Indikationen zur therapeutischen Hypothermie. Dabei wurde ein breites Spektrum zur neuroprotektiven Anwendung der Hypothermie bei verschiedenen Indikationen vorgestellt und aktuelle Studien kritisch diskutiert.
