Synthesis, Properties, and Enantiomerization Behavior of Axially Chiral Phenolic Derivatives of 8-(Naphth-1-yl)quinoline and Comparison to 7,7′-Dihydroxy-8,8′-biquinolyl and 1,1′-Bi-2-naphthol

In Table 3, the values for five of the racemization half-life times are incorrect. The authors wish to publish the following correction:'In Table 3 of the above paper, the racemization half-lives indicated for compound 3 between T = 25-150 °C are erroneously listed at twice their true experimentally determined values. Thus, 1/2 (rac) for 3 at 25, 50, 75, 100, and 150 °C are hereby corrected to 62 y, 2.8 y, 70 d, 6.8 d, and 3.6 h, respectively. All other data in Table 3 as originally published are correct. These revised values do not change the substantive conclusions of the study. The authors sincerely apologize for the calculation error.'
