Telemedizin in der Therapie von Ein- und Durchschlafstörungen

Chronische Schwierigkeiten, ein- oder durchzuschlafen, stellen ein häufiges und hochrelevantes gesundheitliches Problem dar. Der Goldstandard in der Behandlung ist die Kognitive Verhaltenstherapie für Insomnien. Da diese meist durch langjährig ausgebildete Psychotherapeuten durchgeführt wird, besteht ein großes Problem in der Verfügbarkeit der Behandlung. Um hier eine bessere Versorgung der vielen betroffenen, aber schlecht oder gar nicht behandelten Patienten zu erreichen, ist die Entwicklung telemedizinischer Behandlungsverfahren von großer Bedeutung. In den letzten Jahren wurden von mehreren unabhängigen Arbeitsgruppen erfolgreich Studien veröffentlicht, wie eine internetbasierte, teils vollständig therapeutenunabhängige und automatisierte Behandlung funktionieren kann und für welche Patienten sie geeignet ist.
