Cannabiskonsum und assoziierte psychische Störungen

Zusammenfassung

Das Problem der Cannabis-assoziierten Störungen und ihrer Behandlung ist mit dem Anwachsen des Cannabiskonsums und der Stabilisierung ihres Ausmaßes in den letzten Jahren stärker in den Vordergrund getreten. In Deutschland mangelt es nach wie vor an entsprechenden Programmen, die in den USA jedoch bereits ausgearbeitet sind und zur Anwendung gelangen. Sichere Ergebnisse sind hier noch nicht bekannt. Wir werden uns um die Entwicklung derartiger Programme auch in Deutschland weiter bemühen müssen, wenn wir dem Problem des Cannabiskonsums und der mit ihm assoziierten Störungen gerecht werden wollen. Hier spielt vor allem die Cannabisabhängigkeit eine wesentliche Rolle, aber auch Intoxikationen, Entzugssyndrome, kognitive Störungen und Psychosen können nur dann effizient behandelt werden, wenn wir Klarheit über die zur Verfügung stehenden Behandlungsstrategien schaffen. Die in unserer Klinik entwickelten Programme DRIP und MOBI sind ein erster Schritt hierzu.

Summary

The problem of cannabis-associated disorders and their treatment has moved to the foreground with the growth of cannabis consumption in recent years. Germany lacks programs corresponding to those that exist already in the USA. Because our results are not yet sure, if we want to do justice to the problem of cannabis consumption and associated disorders we have to increase our efforts to develop such programs in Germany. Above all cannabis dependence plays a substantial role, but also states of intoxication, withdrawal syndromes, and especially cognitive disorders and psychoses can only be efficiently treated when the effective treatment strategies become clear to us. The programs DRIP and MOBI, developed in our clinic, are first steps in that direction.
