Exogenous Inhibitors of Platelet Aggregation from Animal Sources^[*]

Summary

This updated inventory includes all inhibitors of platelet aggregation from animal sources until mid-1999. They are proteins or glycoproteins with Mr from 5000 to tens of thousands, and inhibit platelet aggregation by different mechanisms. Most lack enzymatic activity, but some exhibit enzymatic activities, such as phospholipase A₂ (PLA₂), proteinase and nucleotidase.
