The Homeopathy Foundation of the DZVhÄ

In this presentation, the Homeopathy Foundation of the German Association of Homeopathic Physicians (DZVhÄ) will present some selected projects focussed on materia medica and case documentation. We also provide information about other funded projects (including clinical and basic research) in recent years.

In Germany, there is no public funding for homeopathic research, and there are very few foundations, which finance individual projects. The Homeopathy Foundation has, therefore, developed a research initiative together with the DZVhÄ and the Scientific Society for Homeopathy (WissHom). The donations are collected predominantly from homeopathic physicians in Germany. The decision-making process does not only consider the scientific quality but also the relevance of projects for the daily work of homeopathists. We would like to help elucidating the mechanisms of homeopathy and to continuously support the quality of homeopathic therapy.

Another aim of the research initiative is to foster homeopathic research in Germany to such an extent, that sustainable research structures can be developed, so that successful projects in future may expect public support and funding.
