Der orale Calcineurin-Hemmer Ciclosporin wird erfolgreich als Monotherapie oder in Kombination mit anderen Medikamenten in der Therapie von verschiedenen immunmediierten Hauterkrankungen bei Hunden und Katzen eingesetzt. Vor allem beim Hund können topische Calcineurin-Hemmer orale Therapien ergänzen oder ersetzen.
