Stills Lehren sind zeitlos, denn sie gründen auf der unveränderlichen Weisheit der Natur. Die Medizin basiert auf Wissenschaft, doch die medizinische Praxis muss von einer ganz anderen Philosophie ausgehen, wenn sie Gesundheit finden möchte. Wir sind Teile der Natur, Teile des Ganzen, nichts ist isoliert. Wenn wir die Beziehungen zwischen den Dingen erkennen, verstehen wir, was Osteopathie ist: Osteopathie ist Natur.

Summary

Stillʼs teachings are timeless because they are based on the unchanging wisdom of nature. Medicine is based on Science. However, in pursuit of health, medical practice must assume a totally different philosophy. We are all part of nature, i.e., parts that comprise the whole and we do not exist in isolation. The prerequisite to understanding osteopathy is cognition of the relationships between phenomena and the fact that osteopathy is nature.
