Zusammenfassung

Die Multiple Sklerose (MS): das Chamäleon in der Neurologie. Sie kann sehr unterschiedliche Symptome annehmen. Daher lässt sie sich nicht nach einem einheitlichen Schema (Schema F) behandeln. Vielleicht noch mehr als bei anderen neurologischen Erkrankungen kommt es darauf an, das individuelle Defizit und Partizipationsziel des Patienten zu erfassen. Aufgrund der motorischen Defizite sind Physio- und Ergotherapeuten gefragt, und sie werden häufig mit Formen der kognitiven und motorischen Fatigue konfrontiert. Der enge und regelmäßige Kontakt mit dem Patienten macht die Therapeuten zu Coaches und Trainern – eine Rolle, die ein hohes Maß an Wissen, Verantwortung und Kompetenz voraussetzt.
