Die WHO klassifiziert Knochen- und Weichteiltumoren nach ihrer Liniendifferenzierung und Dignität, wobei 2013 erstmalig neben benignen und malignen Knochentumoren auch intermediäre Formen aufgeführt wurden ([Tab. 1]) [1]. Letztere gliedern sich in lokal aggressive (z. B. Osteoblastom) und selten metastasierende Tumortypen (z. B. Chondroblastom).
