2. Internationale Konsensuskonferenz zum fortgeschrittenen Mammakarzinom (ABC2), Lissabon, 09.11.2013 – ABC2-Konsensus: Bewertung durch eine deutsche Expertengruppe

Zusammenfassung

Vom 7. bis 9. November 2013 fand in Lissabon die zweite internationale Konsensuskonferenz ABC2 (Advanced Breast Cancer Second Consensus) zu Diagnostik und Behandlung des fortgeschrittenen Mammakarzinoms statt. Der inhaltliche Schwerpunkt lag auf dem inoperablen lokal fortgeschrittenen Mammakarzinom. Diagnostik und Therapie des metastasierten Mammakarzinoms waren bereits vor zwei Jahren anlässlich des ABC1-Konsensus diskutiert worden und wurden im Rahmen des diesjährigen ABC2-Konsensus nur in einzelnen Fragestellungen aktualisiert. Wie schon vor zwei Jahren hat eine Arbeitsgruppe deutscher Brustkrebsexperten die Abstimmungsergebnisse der ABC-Panelisten unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der deutschen Leitlinien zu Diagnostik und Therapie des Mammakarzinoms (AGO-Empfehlungen, S3-Leitlinie) [1] [2] mit Blick auf den Therapiealltag in Deutschland kommentiert. Ziel sowohl des ABC-Konsensus als auch der deutschen Kommentierung ist es, eine evidenzbasierte Grundlage für die Therapieentscheidung zu schaffen.

Abstract

The Advanced Breast Cancer Second International Consensus Conference (ABC2) on diagnosis and treatment of advanced breast cancer took place in Lisbon, Portugal, from November 7th to 9th, 2013. The focus of the Conference was inoperable, locally advanced breast cancer. Diagnosis and treatment of metastatic breast cancer had already been discussed two years ago at the ABC1 Consensus and were updated only regarding special issues as part of this year’s ABC2 Consensus. Like two years ago, a working group of German breast cancer experts commented on the voting results of the ABC panelists, with special consideration of the German guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer (AGO [German Gynecological Oncology Working Group] recommendations, S3 Guideline) [1] [2] in order to adapt them for daily clinical practice in Germany. The goal of both the ABC Consensus and the German comments is to facilitate evidence-based therapy decisions.
