Zusammenfassung

Eine unzureichende Versorgung mit Eicosapentaen- (EPA) und Docosahexaensäure (DHA) prädisponiert während der gesamten Lebensspanne zu suboptimaler Hirnstruktur und -funktion. Erhöht man die Zufuhr dieser Omega-3-Fettsäuren gezielt auf Basis des HS-Omega-3-Index, können kognitive Fähigkeiten erhalten bzw. verbessert werden.
