Dieser Beitrag liefert einen Überblick über die wichtigsten diagnostischen Methoden zum Nachweis infektiöser Hornhaut- und Bindehauterkrankungen. Zudem werden praktische Tipps zur korrekten Gewinnung und zum Umgang mit dem Probenmaterial gegeben, um schnellstmöglich den Erreger identifizieren und eine zielgerichtete Therapie einleiten zu können.
