Der langfristige Erhalt eines Zahnes wird jenseits des Kanalsystems von einer Reihe von Faktoren in erheblichem Maß beeinflusst, die nicht selten ein Scheitern der Behandlung trotz erfolgreicher endodontischer Therapie verursachen. Ziel des nachfolgend vorgestellten Konzeptes ist es, eine Übersicht zu geben über die wichtigsten Parameter, praktisch umsetzbare Hinweise zu präsentieren und aufzuzeigen, wie Misserfolge vermieden werden können.
