Zusammenfassung

Die Wirtschaft befindet sich in einer Krise, immer mehr Menschen verlieren ihre Arbeit. Darunter leidet nicht nur der Geldbeutel, sondern auch die Psyche. Doch inwiefern wirken sich Arbeitslosigkeit und eine schlechte sozioökonomische Lebenslage auf suizidale Handlungen aus? Welche Rolle spielen dabei weitere Faktoren wie Geschlecht, Familienstand und Alkoholkonsum? Wissenschaftler in Sachsen-Anhalt und Niedersachsen suchten mittels einer deskriptiven Aktenanalyse nach einer Antwort.
