Zusammenfassung

Disease-Management-Programme (DMP) stehen ganz vorne auf der Agenda, wenn es um die bessere Versorgung von Patienten mit schweren psychischen Erkrankungen geht. Australien blickt auf eine jahrzehntelange Erfahrung mit solchen DMP zurück. Gut geschulte Fachpflegekräfte bilden das Rückgrat einer Gemeindepsychiatrie, die auch bei nur minimaler Unterstützung durch Psychiater verblüffend effektiv arbeitet.
