Anleitungen und Methodik zur klinischen Prüfung von Arzneimitteln für die Therapie der stabilen Angina pectoris

Zusammenfassung

Zum Nachweis der antianginösen Wirksamkeit einer medikamentösen Therapie bei stabiler Angina pectoris ist die Beachtung von bestimmten Kriterien bei der Planung und Durchführung von klinischen Arzneimittelstudien notwendig. Diese umfassen das Studiendesign, die Randomisierung, Verblindung, Ein- und Ausschlußkriterien, Definition von Zielvariablen, die Durchführung, das Dosisund Dosierungsschema, die Untersuchungsmethoden, die Fallzahlbestimmung und Auswertung der Ergebnisse. Werden diese Kriterien und Bedingungen nicht beachtet, können falsch positive aber auch falsch negative Ergebnisse entstehen. Die Kriterien zum Nachweis der antianginösen Wirksamkeit bei Patienten mit einer stabilen Angina pectoris werden dargestellt.

Guidance and Methodics for the Clinical Investigation of Drugs for Therapy in Stable Angina pectoris

To prove the antianginal efficacy of drugs in patients with stable angina pectoris the notice of certain criteria is necessary for the planning and performance for the clinical investigation of medicinal products. They consist of the study design, the randomization, blinding, inclusion and exclusion criteria, definition of endpoints, the performance of the study, the doses and dosing scheme, the methods of investigation, the sample size estimation and the evaluation of the results. If there will be not payed enough attention to these criteria and conditions false positive but also false negative results can arise. The criteria necessary for proving the antianginal efficacy in patients with stable angina pectoris will be presented.
