Zusammenfassung

Studien belegen, dass Vitamin D von entscheidender Bedeutung für das Zustandekommen und den Verlauf einer Schwangerschaft ist. Die Versorgungslage der Schwangeren beeinflusst das Risiko für Schwangerschaftskomplikationen wie Präeklampsie und schwangerschaftsassoziierte Osteoporose sowie für eine Sectio. Beim kindlichen Organismus wird über Auswirkungen auf Knochenstoffwechsel, Herzgesundheit und Immunsystem berichtet.
