Tissue Therapies is an Australian company developing commercial biomedical technologies for wound healing, tissue repair and cell culture applications, including cell growth media for research and large scale commercial production.

The Company has worldwide exclusive rights to commercialise VitroGro®, a revolutionary growth factor-based technology for enhancing cell growth and migration, developed by tissue engineering experts at the Institute for Health and Biomedical Innovation at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Brisbane, Australia.

Based on its VitroGro technology, Tissue Therapies is developing more effective medical treatments for wound healing including for the treatment of chronic skin ulcers and burns.

Tissue Therapies is also developing cell culture reagents to enhance the growth of mammalian cells for emerging cell-based therapies, along with research and industrial cell culture markets internationally, in collaboration with Invitrogen Corp.

Headquartered in Brisbane, Australia, Tissue Therapies currently has three employees and a contract research and development team of 35 scientists who report to the Chief Scientific Officer, Professor Zee Upton.
