Evidenz für die Wirksamkeit von Physiotherapie bei HWS-Dysfunktionen

Zusammenfassung

Dysfunktionen und Schmerzen der HWS sind ein teures und weit verbreitetes Gesundheitsproblem. Physiotherapie stellt eine gängige Behandlung für den Nacken dar, ist häufig indiziert und spielt bei der Therapie und Verbesserung von Symptomen bei Patienten mit HWS-Syndrom eine große Rolle. Dieser Review prüfte die Evidenz für die Effekte von Physiotherapie bei HWS-Dysfunktionen und gibt Hinweise für deren sinnvollen Einsatz bei der Behandlung.

Bei der Behandlung von HWS-Störungen konnte Physiotherapie eine signifikante Verbesserung von Schmerzintensität, Beweglichkeit und Funktion erzielen.

Abstract

Cervical dysfunction and neck pain are expensive and common physical health problem. Physiotherapy is a common treatment for the neck and often indicated. It also plays a vital role in the treatment and improvement of symptoms in patients with cervical spine disorders. This literature review assessed the evidence of the effects of physiotherapy on cervical neck disorders and suggests a treatment approach.

Treatment with physiotherapy could attain significant improvement in pain intensity, range of motion and function.
